Biography

Lyric coloratura soprano, Kimberly Albrecht enjoys singing a wide range of styles – from jazz with her Jazz Pizazz trio to musical theatre and opera with Bravissimo; and has performed professionally for over 35 years.  As a Top Ten Finalist at Ms. Senior America 2018 in Atlantic City, she received critical acclaim from TIME Magazine for her performance of “Time to Say Goodbye.”  She has distributed over 15 recordings through online “stores” and performed in numerous  livestream concerts and worship services during the pandemic, recently played "Glinda" in THE WIZARD OF OZ at Parker Playhouse,; and was a performer/producer/director for Elgin Opera.  She holds an M.A. in Radio, TV, Film from Northwestern, and a B.A. in Theatre Arts/ English from University of Michigan, where she founded the Women’s Glee Club.
